40 on Marshall New Boutique Accommodation
Last Thursday, the O'Shea Family hosted a successful Meet My Business event at their new boutique accommodation, 40 on Marshall. The event, organised by the Goondiwindi Chamber of Commerce, gave local businesses and community members a chance to tour the stunning new facility.
Approximately 40 attendees were treated to a guided tour of the motel, which features 11 rooms, including accessible options, twin executive suites, and king executive suites. Guests were particularly impressed with the secure gated facility, offering gated parking, keycard entry, and direct access to the Royal Hotel for bar, dining, and function needs.
The O'Shea Family's decision to open a boutique accommodation was driven by the high demand for short-stay options in Goondiwindi, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The motel officially opened its doors on October 3rd.
The renovation of the former Fox & Elder and Goondiwindi Argus buildings into 40 on Marshall was a significant undertaking, with the Goondiwind Argus building being demolished to create a car parking area and the Fox & Elder building completely gutted and transformed into the new motel. Local builder Damien Rose from D Rose Construction oversaw the project.
