Advocate
Advocate with government and external associations on behalf of local business.
Liaise and collaborate with the Goondiwindi Regional Council (GRC), state governments and other chambers of commerce to progress Goondiwindi business initiatives and issues.
Work with the GRC to help deliver the Goondiwindi Economic Development Strategy.
Encourage support for local business in major regional projects, through advocacy and stakeholder committee representation.
Work with stakeholders to create a tourism and marketing strategy to effectively promote the Goondiwindi region.
Public meetings to share information and seek community feedback.
Meet the GRC election candidates events in Talwood, Goondiwindi, Yelarbon and Inglewood.
Grow
Enable opportunities for local business growth and development.
Promote and build the Grow Gundy Gift Card program, as part of the Chamber’s Shop Local campaign.
Organise Twilight on Marshall, the Chamber’s annual celebratory Christmas shopping event.
Work with stakeholders to promote occasional Sunday trading or extended trading hours.
Promote the Business Growth and Recovery program, delivered in conjunction with GRC.
Pursue grants to promote economic regional growth and business development.
Information sessions to communicate projects and seek member feedback.

Learn
Raise business skills through training and information sessions.
Training events, utilising qualified trainers, government resources and successful businesses.
Organising events that build business skills, showcase innovation, and share knowledge, including:
o Meet My Business
o Mini workshops
o Business Breakfasts
Create a benchmarking program to help business planning.
